Eduard saw some shoots I did for mutual friends and contacted me for photos for his portfolio. Since I had a couple of ideas to try out I was more than happy to agree. The shoot took place just before sunset and started off with some natural light shots on Stellenbosch campus and ended with some more extravagant artificially lit shots in the town center.

The following shot was actually just a test shot to get my flash settings sorted – worked out well, so I kept it 🙂
I have shot in this parking lot before (for Gerrit and Karla’s engagement shoot). This time around I dragged the shutter to get some more of the ambient and atmosphere.
I envisioned this shot while doing some of my urban landscapes and just had to get someone on that crossing:
